CALEA Information

FTI's equipment package provides an available RJ-45 Ethernet port at every cable headend where an authorized law enforcement agent may plug in their monitoring equipment and monitor all WAN (Internet) and LAN communications.

Our standard email, proxy-cache, and web servers provide logs of prior communications through the cable system.

With this information, cable companies can file their statement regarding what they are doing to comply with CALEA requirements (FCC Form 445, see below).

Additionally, the
NetEqualizer Bandwidth Management Appliance is in the process of being software upgraded to meet minimal CALEA compliance. ISP's having an active NetEqualizer in their network with NSS Software Support service for the current year, will by May 1, 2007 meet minimal CALEA compliance, as stated by APconnections, manufacturers of the NetEqualizer.

If you would like information about the NetEqualizer and how it can benefit your network, please contact us at 800-833-3353 or via email at sales@ftionline.com.
